And thus when Karan spoke to producer Ekta Kapoor, she willingly and happily granted the permission.
CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, Tanuj Garg, confirms that it is very much true that Dharma and Balaji are extremely close, and thus as Karan is a great friend of Ekta, his request was right away sanctioned to affix the promo of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu with The Dirty Picture. As per strong sources from the production department, the actress said no to perform hot scenes in the company of her co-actor Arunoday Singh on the screen, and that is why actor Randeep Hooda had to be replaced in its place.

During that period, he was all set to share the same screen space with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In his excitement, Arunoday had then said to the media that to work with Aishwarya would be incredible and he is eagerly looking forward to it.
However unfortunately for Arunoday, he is no more a part of this venture, as Randeep Hooda has been replaced in its place. Randeep, in his Bollywood line of business across a decade, has impressed a position for himself in movies that are normally labelled as ‘different’, and thus the leading lady Kareena appears to choose Hooda as her co-actor.

According to the source, Kareena herself agreed of Randeep in the place of Arunoday, and she was as well well-versed at the previous stage when Randeep was being offered by the maker. Randeep is very much in high spirits to work with Bhandarkar, UTV and the gorgeous Kareena Kapoor. Randeep will be enacting as a cricketer in the movie.
When contacted Bhandarkar, he confirmed it by saying that Randeep has certainly swapped by Arunoday in his most-ambitious venture. Further added that the character has been changed a bit and that is for the reason Arunoday was replaced as Randeep suits the character more at the moment. However Madhur as well said that Arunoday is an extremely talented actor, he is looking forward to work with him in future.
